Own My Story Journal

Each woman who attends the Own My Life course, whether in-person or online, needs a copy of this 200-page full colour Journal which includes all the course activities, video scripts, and additional support materials. These can be ordered from HERE in packs of 10/15 and are available in English and Welsh

Zoom Coaching

Every Own My Life facilitator can access a 2-hour Zoom coaching session which normally takes place the week following training. The session is for up to four participants, supported by our expert Zoom Coach to learn skills for hosting Own My Life courses online. The sessions build confidence and competence.

Monthly Drop In

Booked via the e-Hub, facilitators can join this 1-hour session on the last Wednesday of each month. Facilitated by an Own My Life expert, the session provides opportunities to build skills, gain and offer peer support, and get expert advice when running the course. We don't run these sessions in December or August.

Taster Day

A one-day training event that can be delivered by Own My Life facilitators to professionals in your local area (and beyond). It introduces attendees to the Own My Life course content and will enable them to more effectively refer women into the course. Materials provided for running the Taster Day include set up materials (editable application form, draft email invite), delivery materials (timetable, session plan, PowerPoint, evaluation pack), and PDF handouts that can be printed or linked to, if the Taster Day is delivered online.

ZOOManual

Enabling facilitators to deliver the Own My Life course online, the ZOOManual includes everything needed for running the course including Zoom set-up instructions, preparation materials (checklists, draft participant email, Zoom guidance etc), participant resources (self-care activities, Zoom resources and protocols, THIS webpage), delivery materials and session plans.

WoManual

This fully comprehensive 300-page full colour book provides facilitators with session plans, course introduction, facilitator guidance and full copy of Own My Story journal each participant needs when accessing the course.

Conferences

We have an annual online conference that all facilitators are able to attend for a small fee (around £15 each). These conferences include content from facilitators, a keynote speaker, breakout discussion and a free online party for facilitators and all women who have ever attended the Own My Life course. Conference content is then freely available via the e-Hub.

e-Hub

Each facilitator registers for an e-Hub account during training which gives them access to the course videos, including additional and supplementary videos. They can also access other facilitator materials, book into dropins and coaching sessions and manage their bookings from here.

Own My Life:Extra

A password protected area of our website, Own My Life:Extra has been created especially for women participating in Own My Life courses. There is a webpage available for each session which includes: a recap of the session's content, reflection questions, additional content on a subject from the session, a video linked to the session content and further reading. The can also access the course playlist on YouTube filled with empowering and positive songs for women. During training, we provide facilitators with the password for Own My Life:Extra

Own My Choices

In the Own My Life course sessions 2 - 11, there is a weekly activity that uses a traffic light scenario to help women recognise they have more choices than they may realise. On the e-Hub we provide the answers to the WoManual scenarios and provide additional scenario sets for: 1) post-separation, 2) child sexual abuse, 3) lesbian/bi women, 4) addiction issues.
