Our 2025–26 Annual Report is here; celebrating a year of changing women’s lives

We’re delighted to share our brand new Annual Report for April 2025 to March 2026, approved at our Annual General Meeting on 17 October 2026.
Our Annual Report gives us an opportunity to reflect on the year, celebrate all that we’ve achieved together, and thank the brilliant people who make our work possible. Alongside our financial review and governance responsibilities, it tells the story of the growing reach and transformational impact of Own My Life.
And what a year it’s been!
Changing women’s lives
At the heart of everything we do are the women who take part in the Own My Life course. Their experiences remind us why this work matters so much.
Our latest figures show that 100% of women would definitely or mostly recommend the course to other women, with 96% saying they would definitely recommend it. Even more powerfully, 92% of women said the course had definitely or mostly changed their lives, with 67% saying it had definitely changed their lives.
Pages 12–13 of the Annual Report explore this impact in more detail, comparing women’s responses before and after participating in the course. The results show improvements across every measure, demonstrating the difference Own My Life can make.
Reaching more women and practitioners
Throughout the year, we continued to equip practitioners with the knowledge, skills and confidence to deliver Own My Life.
10 training events delivered across the year.
246 practitioners trained, representing 90 organisations.
3,700 journals provided to support women accessing courses.
Since 2019, a total of 21,334 women have been resourced to access Own My Life. That’s thousands of women with the opportunity to build their understanding, recognise their strengths and make changes in their lives.
Our training continues to receive fantastic feedback, too. 99% of trainees rated our training as excellent or good, including 89% who rated it excellent. Meanwhile, 98% said the training would change their practice.
One trainee described the experience as:
“the single most important training I’ve done, not just as a practitioner, but as a human being and citizen of the world.”
You can read more about our training and meet some of the practitioners who joined us this year on pages 18–21. And if you attended training during this reporting period, keep an eye out for yourself in our very own game of “Where’s Wally?” on page 21!
Spreading Own My Life joy far and wide
This year, we continued to share the message of Own My Life with new audiences, finding exciting ways to make our work more accessible and reach even further.
Our Own My Life podcast (available HERE) attracted over 4,000 listeners during the reporting period, while the BBC documentary Lover Liar Predator (available HERE), which we were involved in, received over 1.6 million views in its first 28 days of broadcast.
We were also part in events and activities in Barcelona, Preston, Falkirk, Downing Street and the House of Lords. Along the way, we launched our easy-read materials and Polish translation, helping to make Own My Life accessible to more women.
Our online community continued to grow, too. Across Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn, we achieved a combined 135,000 views, impressions or reach.
You can find more highlights of our outreach, communications and partnerships on pages 16–17 and 23–24 of the report.
A growing team, making a bigger difference
One of the biggest changes this year has been the number of brilliant women working with us. Our work has grown to the point where we can benefit from the wisdom, skills and experience of an expanding team, and we couldn’t be more delighted.
The majority of our team are featured on page 22. We’re incredibly grateful to each of them for everything they bring to Own My Life and the women we support.
And, of course, none of this happens in isolation. Our Annual Report also recognises the many people who have given their time, energy, expertise and resources to help our work flourish. Pages 31–33 are dedicated to thanking these wonderful supporters.
To everyone who has been part of our journey this year: thank you. Whether you’ve delivered a course, trained with us, shared our message, supported our work or helped make our resources available to women, you are part of this impact. You really are helping to make women’s lives better.
