Own My Life is delivered across the UK and Ireland by local organisations that we have trained. You can find your nearest Own My Life organisations using the map below.
what to expect?
Own My Life is generally delivered as a 12-session course for women. The course is usually delivered with groups of women (somewhere between four and twelve women). Some organisations run the course in-person and some run it online. Each participant receives an Own My Story journal and the course will be delivered by a facilitator we have trained.
Own My Life is a joyful, life-affirming opportunity to take back ownership of your life after you have been subjected to abuse. Some women attend Own My Life while they are still in a relationship with someone who is hurting them, others attend the course after leaving or to deal with stuff that was done to them in the past (recently or a long time ago).
Own My Life is delivered online by some organisations, so even if your nearest course is too far away to travel to, you may still be able to access the course online with that organisation.
