Emma Chandler is here to tell everyone about a very exciting upcoming project from Own My Life Workplace! Read on to learn more!

A new era of leadership starts with self-efficacy.
It’s taken me over a decade of coaching leaders at every level to realise one truth: when a woman leads with self-belief, everything shifts, for her, her team, and the culture around her.
I’ve coached women stepping into their first managerial role with shaky confidence and brilliant potential. I’ve worked with seasoned female leaders carrying the weight of invisible expectations, second-guessing their decisions in rooms they’ve long earned the right to be in.
That’s why I’ve created Unlocq Her, a women in leadership programme that brings together science, strategy, and story to build what too many leadership initiatives still miss: self-efficacy. Not just the ability to lead, but the unshakable belief that you can.
The Spark
In 2023, I was introduced to the work of Natalie Collins, author and creator of Own My Life; an extraordinary programme supporting women who have been abused by a partner or ex.
Natalie’s approach to rebuilding self-worth and reclaiming identity struck a deep chord with me, not only because of my own experience as of being subjected to financial abuse, but because I see the quiet echoes of this trauma show up in organisations every day:
In silenced voices.
In imposter syndrome.
In overwork, under-credit, and career hesitation.
That meeting became the start of something powerful.
Our Vision: For Her. For Leadership.
Together, we’ve shaped a version of this work for women in leadership, women who are not broken, but have been battling systemic, cultural and internal barriers for too long.
We’re not here to tell women to “be more confident.” We’re here to help them rise, through neuroscience, practical tools, academic insight, and personalised coaching that builds real, lasting confidence and presence.
Introducing: Unlocq Her
This isn’t a tick-box initiative. This is a transformational programme for women entering, growing into, or reclaiming their place in leadership.
It’s grounded in:
Self-efficacy theory and neuroscience.
Own My Life’s trauma literacy principles.
Award-winning coaching methodology.
Real-world leadership scenarios and tools.
Unlocq Her will launch officially in 2026 available for cohort-based delivery in organisations, or personalised as one-to-one coaching journeys.
Taster Experience: Free Webinar Series for the 16 Days of Activism
In the lead-up to this launch, I’m running a free webinar series aligned with the UN’s 16 Days of Activism to End Violence Against Women and Girls.
These sessions will offer a space for reflection, dialogue, and leadership growth, and can be used as part of your organisation’s internal campaign or wellbeing calendar.
This is not just awareness. This is activation. A powerful opportunity for your female leaders to engage in something meaningful, practical, and transformative.
These will take place over lunchtime, starting at 1pm on:
Tuesday 25th Nov
Friday 28th Nov
Tuesday 2nd Dec
Monday 8th Dec
Tuesday 9th Dec
Wednesday 10th Dec
Let’s Build Something Better
Unlocq Her is for the women in your organisation who are ready. And it’s for the organisations ready to walk their talk, investing in the potential of women not just to lead, but to thrive.
If this speaks to your mission, we’d love to partner with you.
