Celebrating Connection, Growth, and JOY – Our 2024/25 Annual Report

As the seasons turn and we find ourselves already halfway through another vibrant and busy year, we’re taking a moment to reflect on everything we’ve achieved together in 2024/25. It’s with full hearts and deep gratitude that we share our Annual Report for the period April 2024 to March 2025.
This past year has been one of beautiful connections, inspiring growth, and powerful collaboration. Our work is governed by The Women's Liberation Collective and as a charity rooted in feminist values and community-led change, we are proud to have continued spreading Own My Life JOY across the UK, the Isle of Man, and the Republic of Ireland. Each new connection has brought with it fresh energy, new voices, and strengthened partnerships that carry us forward with hope and purpose.
One of the most exciting milestones of the year was the launch of the Own My Life programme in Northern Ireland, a region filled with magnificent women, where this work is both timely and deeply needed. Our Northern Irish pilot marked a huge step forward in making Own My Life more accessible and responsive across different communities. We are incredibly grateful to Jo Costello, who expertly managed the Northern Ireland pilot with unwavering commitment, all while being an essential part of our team up until March 2025. Her contribution has been instrumental in making this project a success.
Another major highlight was Own My Life becoming available across London to female officers and staff within the Met Police. This is a significant development, and one we hope will lead to safer and more meaningfully supportive workplaces across public services.
Of course, none of this would have been possible without the phenomenal Victoria Mason, who has volunteered countless hours to enable these new projects to take root. Her dedication, generosity, and belief in our work have been a driving force behind these achievements, and we truly can’t thank her enough.
We’ve packed this report with stories, updates, and impact highlights that celebrate the incredible women and communities we’ve worked with this year. It’s also a chance to look ahead, with excitement and optimism, to what’s next for Own My Life.
