April Facilitator Training

It was another magnificent facilitator training event last week with women from across the UK and Ireland joining us for a week of joy, sisterhood, learning and hope. All participants shared how important the training had been to them. We were paticularly moved by the following comment from a woman who said the following in response to the question "In what ways will Own My Life training impact your practice?"

“I will place the woman & her needs at the centre of my practice, rather than placing emphasis on risk. I will celebrate with women in the ways that they resist, and support women to own their story and ultimately their lives. I will try to bring joy, humour & lightness to my practice to counter all the serious, sad bits, seeking to support women find hope & joy within the brokenness.”
